    I might send a quick message before restricting just to let them know why—something simple like, “Hey, you ignored my rules and made me uncomfortable, so I’ve restricted your account.” But that’s totally optional and just how I handle it.

    Bottom line: you’re 100% in the right to do what feels best for you.
