Lately, I’ve been seeing a surge in AI-generated profiles on Instagram that promote their OnlyFans accounts. I recently came across one that only had five AI-generated images and one video, but it had over 2,000 likes. It looks like people are actually paying to subscribe—possibly without even realizing it’s not a real person.
This raises a few concerns for me. First, is AI content even allowed on OnlyFans? And second, how are real creators supposed to compete with this? I’ve put so much effort into my content – over 900 images and 200 videos and it’s frustrating to see AI profile with almost no content gaining so much traction so quickly.
What really bothers me is that people in the comments seem to believe this AI “creator” is a real person. It just doesn’t sit right. Has anyone else noticed this trend? What are your thoughts on AI in this space?
OnlyFans requires creators to tag AI-generated content, so if they’re not doing that, they’re breaking the rules. Also, those likes might be from free trials or fake engagement and not real subscribers.
Try not to stress about it. AI can’t compete with the real human connection and personality you offer. Focus on what makes you unique – your audience will appreciate it.
I feel the same way. It all just feels really unfair and frustrating. I’m also an artist and content creator, and I have an Etsy shop—so I totally understand how disheartening it is to see AI content being allowed there too.
It’s a scam. These AI profiles are often boosted with fake followers and free trial subs to make them look successful. Then agencies use them as ‘proof’—saying things like, ‘Look, this AI model is making millions! You can too if you hire us and hand over all your content.’ Don’t fall for it. Just ignore.
