Is there a strong audience for BBW content on OnlyFans?

Hi everyone! I’m new to OnlyFans and wanted to hear from other BBW creators about your experiences. How has your content been received on the platform? Do you find there’s a strong audience that appreciates BBW content? I’m a BBW myself and would love any tips on how to promote myself effectively, especially in a space that often seems to favor slimmer creators. Thanks in advance for any advice you’re willing to share!

  1. Honestly, being a BBW creator isn’t that different when it comes to promotion — you still need to do what every other creator does, whether they’re slim, curvy, blonde, brunette, or anything else.

I started in 2022, and at my peak, I reached the top 2.1% on OnlyFans. The most important thing is figuring out what works best for you when it comes to promotion. I recommend using platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Reddit. There are plenty of other social media options to explore too.

One thing that might be a bit different as a BBW is how platforms like Instagram tend to flag or shadowban our content more often — probably just because there’s more visible skin, lol

But don’t worry — there are lots of men who love and appreciate our curves! Personally, I haven’t had anyone be rude or call me names in a mean way.

  2. I’m also brand new to this, and honestly — it’s been going better than I expected! Even though I haven’t had much time to promote myself during my first week, I’ve still seen more success than I thought I would. There’s definitely a lot of love out there for BBW creators!

One thing that’s really helped me is shifting my mindset: if someone subscribed, it means they’re already interested. That reminder helps ease any insecurities I might feel.

Good luck — you’ve got this!

  3. I’m not sure if I still count as a BBW, but during my first three years as a creator, I definitely was. Looking back, if I could do things differently, I would’ve focused more on niche subreddits — especially tummy, feeder, and stuffer communities — instead of wasting time on TikTok. That platform is extremely fatphobic, and even using the word “BBW” can get you banned.

Instagram is hit or miss, but I think it’s still worth using. I’d focus on body-positive content there — it tends to perform really well, especially for plus-size or midsize creators. Even now, after losing some weight, I still find that body-positive posts help boost views.

Most of my income used to come from fans requesting feeder content. These days, I’ve become more organized with promotion and marketing, and I’m making about three times more than I did before — though I also fit a bit more into traditional beauty standards now.

That’s not to discourage anyone, but it’s important to be honest. The less you align with society’s beauty norms, the harder it can be to get views — and views matter when it comes to making money. I often hear people say that body shape doesn’t matter, but I wish someone had been upfront with me about the reality from the start.

  4. OnlyFans has given me a level of confidence and self-worth I never thought I could have—and I’ve only been doing it since January.

I’ve always been a bigger girl and struggled with an eating disorder for years. I never truly loved my body. But now, people are literally paying to see it. And while I might not be “super successful” by some standards, I’m genuinely proud of what I’ve earned—not just financially, but in terms of how much better I feel about myself. The boost to my self-esteem has been huge.

  5. I’m also a new BBW content creator, so it’s really encouraging to see others like me getting started too! From the research I’ve done, it seems like there’s a strong audience for our niche, and we definitely have the potential to do well on these platforms. I’ll admit, I’m a little nervous about what people will think once my profile is live after verification—but I know that’s just my own insecurity creeping in. The truth is, there are plenty of people out there who love and appreciate BBW creators!
