Went from free to paid on OnlyFans… Now I have zero fans

I’ve had a free OnlyFans account for a long time and recently switched it to a paid page. I expected to earn something since around 90% of my fans had auto-renew turned on, but I was wrong. Now I have zero subscribers.

If I switch back to a free page, I assume I’ll still be starting from scratch. I’ve also been trying to promote on Reddit, but most of my posts get removed.

Feeling stuck right now. Has anyone been through this or have any tips for getting back on track?

  1. Don’t switch back to a free page — there’s really no benefit. Think of your paid page as a fresh start. Yes, you’re at zero subs right now, but once you get your first paying fan, that’s already more than you were making with free followers. Why go back to a bunch of subs who aren’t paying? Focus on attracting quality subscribers who actually value your content. You’ve got this — keep going!

  2. No mistake made honestly, you did yourself a favor. Stop selling yourself short. Any guy who doesn’t get that you’re just trying to keep a roof over your head and a car running isn’t worth stressing over. Posing with your ass out? That’s never going to be free. Maybe affordable, sure – but never free. And if followers get mad about that? Let them go.

  3. You made the right decision! While it may not feel like it at the moment, continue promoting, posting consistently, and staying active. Over time, your efforts will pay off, leading to a more stable revenue stream.

Tip: Rotate your content regularly by keeping it up for a couple of weeks or a month. This keeps your page fresh and engaging, encouraging subscribers to keep returning for new content instead of downloading everything and unsubscribing.

  4. If you have followers who previously expressed interest in subscribing, consider sending them a friendly and personalized message – sometimes technical issues or timing can get in the way. You might also offer a small discount as an incentive to join.

Remember that when switching from a free to a paid account, your growth may slow down initially. However, the quality and engagement of your subscribers will typically improve significantly.

For example, when I transitioned from a free to a paid page, my subscriber count dropped from 200 to just 11. But over time, I’ve built back up to around 30 loyal fans and my income has increased. Quality over quantity does make a difference.
