How are people getting 1,000+ subscribers in their first month?
They either got really lucky, already had a strong following before starting, or they're not being completely honest. I didn’t even reach 100 subscribers until my fourth month, and I just hit 200 in my seventh month.

It’s absolutely normal for growth to be slow at first - it takes more than a month to build a big fanbase. Focus on the long game, stay consistent, and give yourself time to grow.

I’d recommend testing the waters before quitting your day job. OnlyFans takes a lot more effort than people often expect, and it’s not always easy to start earning a substantial income right away. When I started, I didn’t have another job to leave, so I jumped in full-time from the beginning. I’ve been a full-time creator since August 2022 with no other income streams, and thankfully, I was lucky enough to start making enough to support myself and my family of three right away. But not everyone will have that same experience.
So my advice is: don’t rush into it. Take some time to see how things go, build a steady income, and make sure it’s sustainable before fully committing.

First of all, if this is something you want to do—go for it, and try not to let other people’s opinions hold you back. I’m also 45, and proudly embracing my MILF era! I’ve found that my loyal fans on OF are incredibly supportive and appreciative. I don’t rely too heavily on promoting through social media for my own reasons, but the audience I’ve built loves me for being authentic and confident in who I am.
So truly—own it. Don’t let the negativity get in your head. Straighten your crown and keep doing what makes you feel powerful and fulfilled.

5:00 AM: I wake up early and check all my platforms — spicy sites, Instagram, X (Twitter), etc. I review stats, reply to messages, and post content (photos, videos, stories) on Twitter, Bluesky, OF, and Fansly. Then I update my three Instagram accounts with reels, posts, and stories. This whole process takes about 1 to 1.5 hours.
6:30–7:00 AM: I get ready for the day, prepare breakfast, and take my child to daycare.
Around 9:00 AM: Once I’m back home and the house is tidy (I can’t focus if it’s messy!), I check messages and settle in at my laptop.
9:00 AM–12:00 PM: I focus on core work — this could be editing content, scheduling posts, or creating new reels, photos, or videos depending on what’s needed that day.
Lunch break.
1:00–3:00 PM: I handle promotions — mainly on Instagram and Reddit — and check all my platforms again. I finish any remaining scheduling and chat with fans, including spicy DMs and sexting when needed.
Afternoon/Evening: I switch to family time, do household chores, and relax. I still check my messages occasionally and post evening reels or updates on IG if needed.
It’s not a strict schedule every day, but I do my best to stay organized. Truthfully, I end up online more than I’d like — I often have my phone in my hand, checking on things.

Honestly, being a BBW creator isn’t that different when it comes to promotion — you still need to do what every other creator does, whether they’re slim, curvy, blonde, brunette, or anything else. I started in 2022, and at my peak, I reached the top 2.1% on OnlyFans. The most important thing is figuring out what works best for you when it comes to promotion. I recommend using platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X (Twitter), and Reddit. There are plenty of other social media options to explore too.
One thing that might be a bit different as a BBW is how platforms like Instagram tend to flag or shadowban our content more often — probably just because there’s more visible skin, lol
But don’t worry — there are lots of men who love and appreciate our curves! Personally, I haven’t had anyone be rude or call me names in a mean way.
