When it comes to equipment, you don’t need anything super fancy to get started – most modern smartphones have great cameras that are more than enough for creating content. That said, lighting is actually more important than your camera. Natural light works great if you can use it, but investing in a ring light or even softbox lights can significantly boost your video quality.
One tip: always use your phone’s rear camera instead of the selfie one – it usually has much better quality. To make sure I can still see myself while filming, I mirror my phone screen onto a second device using an app called ApowerMirror. It makes recording solo content way easier.
On the software side, I highly recommend checking out the BuddyX plugin for OnlyFans. It adds a bunch of useful tools that help with managing your account.
Lastly, I suggest being on multiple platforms – not just OnlyFans. Fansly, ManyVids, Clips4Sale, and iWantClips are all worth looking into. Personally, I’ve only used ManyVids so far, but even with minimal effort (just uploading content I already had), I was able to make over $3K/month in passive income. So don’t sleep on those extra platforms – they can be a great source of additional income.

I used Pixsy just last week after a fan warned me about a leak. It actually worked well; they found two leaks, and the account that posted them ended up getting taken down. Definitely worth checking out if you're dealing with this kind of thing.
