Hey everyone!
I know most guys who call themselves “sugar daddies” are usually scammers, but I recently heard about a creator whose subs actually pay for her hotels, trips, and other luxuries – most likely through generous tips.
I’m curious… how do you go about asking for that kind of support without sounding awkward or pushy? How do you frame it in a way that works?
Also, how can you spot the real generous subs versus the fakes? I’ve had a few big tippers over the years, but no one who’s ever dropped thousands.
Would love to hear your advice or experience!
I think a lot of it comes down to luck. Most people you see on social media bragging about huge tips are either exaggerating to get engagement, or they already have a big following, which naturally gives them better odds of landing a big tipper.
Honestly, most of the time, these people are either exaggerating or not being completely truthful. In a lot of cases, if someone is getting things like hotel stays or big gifts, it’s because they’re actually seeing that person in real life, and there’s usually something sexual involved.
I’ve met girls who will straight-up tell me, “Oh, I have a sugar daddy who just takes me to dinner, no sex or anything, and he pays all my bills,” and it’s hard not to roll my eyes. That’s rarely the full story.
The best advice I can give from my own experience is to focus on leveling up – both yourself and your content. Real “sugar daddies” tend to have higher standards. Many of them support multiple creators at once, so they’re selective. They also tend to keep a low profile, usually because they have careers, businesses, and families.
The flashy guys usually just spend on themselves. But the real big spenders on my page? They often drive older cars, live in modest homes, and use credit cards strategically for points. They care more about experiences than material things, and they tend to have unique tastes.
If you present yourself in a unique, high-value way, they’ll notice. I’ve had some of them randomly tip me hundreds just because they had a good day in the stock market.
