Hi everyone! I’m still pretty new, and I’ve already reached the top 6%, which is exciting. But now I’m starting to stress about the possibility of plateauing.
I promote a lot, and I’m in a niche/taboo fetish, so growth started strong, but things seem to have slowed down lately. How do you manage the pressure of keeping subs engaged and continuing to grow? What do you do when things start to feel stagnant?
Would love to hear how others handle this and if anyone relates to that fear of slipping backward after early success.
Maybe this is a good time to take your content in a new direction! You could try experimenting with themes like POV roleplay, YouTube-style ASMR, or even more intimate content where you share a bit about yourself.
If you’re comfortable, consider branching out into new or slightly more risqué content than you usually do. Sometimes a little change can spark new interest.
That said, you’re not alone. A lot of content creators have been noticing a slowdown lately. And honestly, it seems like more men are stepping away from adult content altogether, which might be part of the dip.
I know that’s not the most uplifting answer, but hopefully it gives you some insight. Hang in there – I hope things start looking up for you soon!
Dropping to 6% in just a month is amazing, give yourself some credit! When I hit a plateau, one thing that really helped me was going live on OF. It boosted my engagement a lot. I played around with different times to catch fans in various time zones, and it worked. I think people appreciated getting to see my personality in real time, it’s something that doesn’t always come across in messages.
I also noticed that a lot of the quiet or non-spending subs started showing up for the lives, and many of them actually began tipping or buying content afterward. So if you’re feeling stuck, going live could be a great move.
Wishing you tons of success – you’re already doing great!
That’s just how this business works – you won’t always be riding high. The key is to keep experimenting, stay consistent, and keep showing up.
